XXXTentacion fans are seeing a documentary about the late rapper for the first time. Billboard has exclusively unveiled the trailer for Hulu’s “Look At Me: XXXTENTACION” documentary film.
Xxx was killed in a failed robbery in 2018.
The film’s acclaimed director, Sabaah Folayan said Billboard“He didn’t necessarily win his battle before we lost him, but he gave us a space to talk about mental health and his inner struggle.”
‘Look At Me: XXXTENTACION’ explores how Florida teenager Jahseh Onfroy came to be SoundCloud rapper XXXTentacion, one of the most listened to artists on the planet.

Through candid commentary from family, friends and never-before-seen archival footage, the director offers a sensitive portrait of an artist whose acts of violence, raw musical talent and open struggles with mental health have left a indelible mark on his generation before his death at the age of 20.
An award-winning director, Folayan is a basketball player and activist from South Central Los Angeles. His critically acclaimed debut film, Whose street? tells the story of the murder of Michael Brown and the uprising in Ferguson.
His next project and highly anticipated documentary about the rapper gone too soon, XXXTentacion hits Hulu on May 26.
