A talk about the hardships faced by undocumented Haitian workers in the Dominican Republic and the stories of immigrants at a Georgia ICE detention center during the COVID-19 pandemic are just two of six documentaries making their world premiere at the annual 24h Full Frame Documentary Film Festival.

Operating out of Durham, North Carolina and held virtually from June 2-6 of this year due to the pandemic, Malice Cane and Ease are two of 36 titles from 21 countries announced as official selections for this year’s film festival,

The lineup also includes four North American premieres and a handful of American premieres.

All films will be screened as part of the New Docs program and are eligible for jury prizes, which will be announced during the festival.
