Prince Charles talks about Sir Ranulph Fiennes in documentary film EXPLORER

Prince of Wales will appear in the feature documentary EXPLORER, a portrait of the world’s greatest living explorer, Sir Ranulph Fiennes.

In a new exclusive clip, HRH Charles The Prince of Wales speaks of his admiration for his longtime friend, whose many extraordinary achievements include being the first to circumnavigate the globe from pole to pole, crossing Antarctica on foot, beating countless world records and discover a lost city in Arabia.

“He wants to do things that have not been done by others, to achieve what others have not done.” SAR Charles Prince of Wales says of Sir Ranulph Fiennes in the clip.

But who is Prince’s friend Charles who prefers to be known as “Ran”?

With exclusive access to Ran, his incredible film archive, curated and cared for by the BFI National Archives, spanning decades of expeditions and contributions from longtime friends and colleagues, EXPLORER tells the definitive story of a leader inspiring, diving deep into Ran’s audacity. and eccentric dreams to explore the complex motivations behind them.

The feature-length documentary will be available on digital and on-demand from August 30, 2022, and will also feature adventurer Bear Grylls (National Geographic’s Running Wild with Bear Grylls) and explorer Anton Bowring, among others.

EXPLORER is a film by Good Productions in association with the British Film Institute (BFI) and Universal Pictures Content Group. Directed by Matt Dyas and produced by BAFTA and Emmy nominated George Chignell (Citizen K, Searching for Sugar Man, I Am Ali).
